Delivery Questions

Do we post outside the UK.

The answer is yes, please use the contact us  email  with your request, and we will ask the question to the artist and come back with a cost and estimated delivery time.

 

Selling with us 

My business is not registered in the UK , can I still join?

NO, This is a selling platform for British Designer Makers who make their products in the UK. 

If I have filled in the application to join B.O.B am I obligated to join?                                                                                                                                                                          

No Completing the form gives us the opportunity to hear more about your business and to give you the appropriate information about working with us should you be accepted.

What is your joining fee and commission charge?

It is free , we mark your wholesale price up 50 – 100% depending on discipline, no hidden cost to you.

Does my business need to be VAT registered before I apply?

In order to sell through B.OB you will need to be registered as appropriate according to your turnover or size. However, you do not need to be a VAT registered business at the time of applying to sell with us

Do the prices I charge on B.OB need to match my own website?

You are completely free to set your own prices on B.O.B, we  do recommend you keep them in line with your own website to build a successful business with us.

Can you review my application without photographs of my products?                                                                                                                                                                           

No. You’ll need to provide images of the products you would like to sell, either by giving us a website address where your photographs can be found (this can be your own site, or a link to an online photo sharing application such as instagram or similar), or attaching them to the email you received on application

Do I need professional images of my products to be accepted?                                                                                                                                                                                           

No, but product imagery is a key aspect of success on our platform. We need all images to be square  a good size is 300 x 240, and find that bright, naturally lit photography maximises sales for our Artists.

Why haven’t I had a response to my application?                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Have you:

Applied to sell with us by  emailing us for a application form  at Sellwithus sending back by email the  application form?
Sent images of your products either through your website, a photo sharing website or as attachments to the email you received on application?
Waited at least seven days since you sent us your product photography?
Ensured that your email spam and junk filters recognise bestofbritish2015@gmail.com as a safe contact so you can receive our email response?
Please make sure you’ve completed all these steps. If you’ve done all of these, get in touch again, so that we can further your application.

What happens if my application is successful?                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

The B.O.B team will be in touch with instructions of how to move forward and complete your contract with us.

What if I have applied before?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     

If you have new products or updated photography, please do get back in touch with us and we will be happy to re-review your application. Please note that we require images of your updated range in order to re-review your application. There’s no need to fill in the application form again as we’ll have your details on record, please note we only keep these for 12 months, if you are applying after that time please fill in a new application form.
